How Brent Got So Funny
Brent received his start at the young age of 15 as a small town DJ in Nederland, Texas. He went from being an On Air DJ to MC many Gospel Music Shows. At the age of 21 Brent had a hit Southern Gospel Radio Show on a 50,000 watt radio station in Houston, Texas. While working for some of the biggest country radio stations in Houston he had the opportunity to cover “The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo”!
Brent got married at the young age of only 16 to his wife Melissa. They have been married for 22 years and have two boys (Brandon 21 and Cameron 13) and also two Grandchildren. Did we mention Brent is only 38!!
Over the last 18 years of doing radio and standup comedy, Brent has found himself being sought by many corporations for his clean/non-offensive Comedy. WALMART, CHEVRON, SONIC, HOMEDEPOT, ACADEMY OUTDOORS, JOHN DEER DEALERSHIPS just to name a few. He also performs for hundreds of churches, Chambers of Commerce, fairs, schools and colleges!
The online booking agency GIGMASTERS has Brent in the Top 50 Funniest Comedians on its website!
He has toured with Christian acts such as, Papa was a Preacher, and Christ in the Concrete City. Brent has performed with Gospel Music Artists including, Lesters, Mercy Mark, Dove Brothers, Gann Brothers, Men of Music, Dixie Echoes, Thrasher Brothers and many more!
Brent is a Member of the Christian Comedy Association and the “Heavyweights of Clean Comedy.”
